The law office is a general law practice serving clients of all income levels across Northeastern Ohio.  We specialize in family law matters, estate planning, bankruptcy, consumer protection and elder law.  In every case, we work to protect our client's rights, to preserve their assets and to pursue the goals of representation as determined by the client.

The Law Office of M. M. Adamson is located at 5294 Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst, Ohio.  Our office is on the second floor of a converted home.  If stairs present a barrier to your access, please call the office and arrange for a consultation in your home or outside the office at no additional charge.  We endeavor to provide a comfortable and professional work environment at minimal operating costs for our clients.

How We Start
We provide free initial consultations to all new clients.  We will listen carefully and, if necessary, research the legal issues involved before offering to represent you.  We will explain our very competitive costs and what you can expect in our commitment to your cause.  There are different fee structures depending on the nature of your legal matter.  We will work to serve clients on a budget. 

We offer an outstanding legal value to our clients.  We provide transparent reporting on all billable and non-billable work we perform on your behalf.

About Michael M. Adamson

Credentials
Mr. Adamson is licensed to practice law both in California and in Ohio.  He is also admitted to practice at the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio.  Mr. Adamson has never been subject to professional discipline in either state.

Legal Education and Awards
Mr. Adamson earned his Juris Doctor (or Doctor of Jurisprudence) degree from the prestigious Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. 

Washington and Lee is consistently recognized as one of the top 25 law schools in the country. Mr. Adamson graduated in the top 5% of his class, magna cum laude.  He was recognized both for his writing skills (Best Brief) and advocacy skills (Oral Finalist) in the John W. Davis Moot Court Competition.   He was inducted into the order of the coif, generally considered one of the highest honors a law student can receive.

Other Education
Mr. Adamson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.  With majors in both English and mathematics, Mr. Adamson graduated with honors.  Mr. Adamson has also completed graduate coursework at the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Experience
Mr. Adamson practiced law as a public defender and as a family law attorney in California before returning to Ohio.  Mr. Adamson had a successful career in retailing before entering the legal profession.  Mr. Adamson has served as a senior executive for industry leading retailers such as Office Depot and as a senior representative for leading technology companies, such as IBM.  This experience gives Mr. Adamson a real world, businessman's perspective and skills with technology that directly work to lower our office operating costs and to streamline our client work planning.
